The International Youth Day (IYD) is celebrated by the United Nations on August 12th every year. Being a youth led organization, this year TYCL has planned to observe the IYD by actively engaging and recognizing the young people through a “Short Film Festival”.

 

Registration GUIDELINES:

1.Registration Fee: Rs. 200/-

2.Before starting the registration process, you need to pay the registration fee and take a screenshot. You must submit the screenshot as proof of payment during registration in the Form.

     • Digital mental well-being
     • Mental Health
     • Substance abuse and suicide
     • Unemployment
     • LGBTQA+ & suicide prevention
     • Persons with Disability & suicide prevention

– YOUTH CLIMATE ACTION with special reference to
     • Clean water & sanitation
     • Access and affordability to green energy
     • Sea erosion and climate change

– GENDER JUSTICE with special reference to
     • Gender – based violence
     • Gender stereotypes & sexism
     • Equity in decision making
     • Equal access of women to justice
     • Gender equity

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Participants must be the age of 14 to 29 years.

2. Duration of short film should not be more than 5 minutes including title card and closing credits

3. The short film must be in Tamil language (Subtitle is optional)

4. The short film should strictly reflect the above Themes of the film festival.

Note: Submissions are also welcomed from people from marginalized communities, Persons with Disabilities and LGBTQA+ communities.

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1.Documentaries will not be accepted.

2.Copyrighted Audio / Video clips / Images should not be used in any part of the short film.

3.The entry should be submitted by the applicant who may be the right holder of the film or the person authorized to participate in the contest and has to accept the terms and conditions of the Short Film Festival.

4.Submitted Short Film should not have been nominated in any other competitions or uploaded in any other Online Platforms. If found later, will be disqualified for the contest / prize withheld.

 

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

1.Short Film video quality should be at least 1080p

2.The short film may be shot in MP4 or MKV format (preferred video ratio 16:9)

1.Shortfilm can be submitted through any online link

2.Applicants can also submit their Short Film in person or Via Post (Pendrive) on or before 10th August 2023 to the below mentioned address.

1. The top three videos will be selected by the jury panel in the International Youth Day Celebration and will be awarded certificates and cash prizes

1st PRIZE – ₹50,000/-

2nd PRIZE – ₹30,000/-

3rd PRIZE – ₹20,000/-

 

2. “Certificate of Appreciation” will be provided for the top ten selected short films

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

– TYCL reserves the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of the film festival anytime.

ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் சபை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் 12 ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச இளையோர் தினமாக கொண்டாடி வருகிறது.   இளையோர் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் தலைமைத்துவ மையமும் அனைத்து வருடமும் சர்வதேச இளையோர் தினத்தை, நம் சமூகத்தில் நேர்மறையான மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்த செயல்படும் இளைஞர்களை அங்கீகரித்து  ஊக்குவிப்பதன் மூலம் கொண்டாடி வருகிறது. அவ்வகையில் இந்த ஆண்டு, சர்வதேச இளையோர் தினத்தை “குறும்பட திருவிழா” மூலம் கொண்டாட இருக்கிறது.

 

பதிவிற்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்:

1.பதிவு கட்டணம் : ₹200/-

2.பதிவு செய்யத் தொடங்குவதற்கு முன், நீங்கள் பதிவுக் கட்டணத்தைச் செலுத்தி ஸ்கிரீன்ஷாட் எடுக்க வேண்டும். படிவத்தில் பதிவு செய்யும் போது கட்டணம் செல்லுபடியாக செலுத்திய ஸ்கிரீன்ஷாட்டை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.

தகுதி வரம்பு 

1.போட்டியாளர்கள் 14 முதல் 29 வயதிற்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

2.தலைப்பு மற்றும் இறுதி சமர்ப்பணம் உட்பட குறும்படத்தின் கால அளவு 5 நிமிடத்திற்குள் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

3.குறும்படம் கட்டாயமாக தமிழில் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும். (தேவைபட்டால் வசன வரிகளை வைத்துக்கொள்ளலாம்).

4.தங்களின் குறும்படம் கட்டாயமாக மேலே கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள கருப்பொருளின் பிரதிபலிப்பாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

குறிப்பு : ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட சமூகத்தை சார்ந்தவர்கள், LGBTQA+ சமூகத்தை சார்ந்தவர்கள் மற்றும் மாற்றுத்திரனாளி மக்களிடமிருந்து படைப்புகள் வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன.

 

சமர்பித்தளுக்கான வழிமுறைகள்

1.ஆவணப்படங்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படாது.

2.பதிப்புரிமை பெற்ற இசை/காட்சிகள்/புகைப்படங்கள் குறும்படத்தின் எந்த பகுதியிலும் பயன்படுத்தியிருக்கக் கூடாது.  

3.குறும்படத்தின் உரிமையாளரான பங்கேற்பாளர் அல்லது போட்டியில் பங்கேற்க அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட நபரால் மட்டுமே குறும்படம் சமர்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் மற்றும் குறும்பட விழாவின் விதிமுறைகள் மற்றும் நிபந்தனைகளை ஏற்க வேண்டும்.  

4.சமர்பிக்கப்பட்ட குறும்படம் வேறு எந்த ஒரு குறும்பட போட்டியிலும் பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டோ, சமூக ஊடக பக்கங்களில் ஒளிபரப்பியிருக்கவோ கூடாது. அப்படி ஒளிபரப்பியிருந்தால்  அவை கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டால் அக்குறும்படம் தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்யப்படும்; அப்போட்டியாளரின் பரிசும் முடக்கப்படும்.

 

சமர்ப்பிக்கும் வடிவம் 

1.குறும்படத்தின் தன்மை குறைந்த பட்சம் 1080p (பிக்சல்) என்ற அளவில் இருக்க வேண்டும் 

2.குறும்படம்  MP4  அல்லது MKV என்ற வடிவத்தில் இருக்க வேண்டும் (விருப்பமான காணோளி விகிதம் 16:9)

 

சமர்ப்பிக்கும் முறை

1.குறும்படத்தை எந்த ஆன்லைன் இணைப்பு மூலமாகவும் சமர்ப்பிக்கலாம்.  

2.ஒருவேளை தங்களின் குறும்படத்தை  PENDRIVE மூலமோ அல்லது தபால் வழியாகவோ அனுப்ப நேர்ந்தால் அவற்றை கீழுள்ள முகவரிக்கு ஆகஸ்ட் 10ஆம் தேதி அல்லது அதற்கு முன் அனுப்பவும்.

2.காலநேரம் கடந்து சம்ர்பிக்கப்படும் குறும்படத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள இயலாது. 

விருதுக்கான அளவுகோள் 

1.நடுவர் குழுவால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட முதல் 3 குறும்படத்திற்கு சான்றிதழ்கள் மற்றும் ரொக்கப்பரிசு வழங்கப்படும். 

முதல் பரிசு – ₹50,000/-

இரண்டாம் பரிசு – ₹30,000/-

மூன்றாம் பரிசு – ₹20,000/-

2.தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட முதல் 10 குறும்படங்களுக்கு “பங்கேற்புச் சான்றிதழ்கள்” வழங்கப்படும்.

– போட்டியின் எந்த நேரத்திலும் விதிமுறைகளில் மாற்றம் செய்யவோ, விழாவை மாற்றவோ இளையோர் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் தலைமைத்துவ மையத்திற்கு உரிமை உண்டு.

– நடுவர் குழுவின் தீர்ப்பே இறுதியானது. 

– சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட குறும்படத்தை சமூக ஊடக பக்கங்கள், சர்வதேச மன்றங்கள் மற்றும் அதன் படைப்பு வெளியீடுகளிலும் வெளியிடும் உரிமை இளையோர் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் தலைமைத்துவ மையத்திற்கு உண்டு.
