Trust for Youth and Child Leadership (TYCL) invites application from the eligible Social Workers specialized in Community Development and Medical & Psychiatric who are socially conscious, self-motivated, cause-driven young professionals to learn and work for a positive social change to the below mentioned positions on a Regular / Tenure basis.

Minimum 23 Years – Maximum 30 Years

Essential Qualification

Master’s Degree in Social Work / Psychology with specialization in Medical & Psychiatric / Community Development. Certification / Experience in Counselling field will be an added advantage.

Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the organization in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Language Preference

Very Good Command over Oral & Written Communication in Tamil and English Languages.

Pay Scale

Commendable Compensation as per industry standard will be offered to selected candidates based on role, cause-driven commitment, skills and creativity.

Duties
&
Responsibilities

1. Support young people via Youth Helpline Phone and Mobile Application.
2. Co-ordinate and run outreach activities with Schools, Colleges, Youth Clubs and Communities.
3. Maintaining relationship with resource partners and collect periodical updates and reports from partners.
4. Coordinate and Organize promotional activities with Volunteers and Stakeholders of Youth Helpline.
5. Prepare Annual budget for Youth Helpline activities and ensure transparency and accountability in the program implementation.
6. Process documentation of Youth Helpline activities and submit monthly and periodical reports to the Director.

Master’s Degree in Social Work / Psychology / Management with specialization in Medical & Psychiatric / Community Development / Human Resources & Operations.

Certification / Experience in Counselling field will be an added advantage

1. Manage the performance of coordinator, fellows, and volunteers effectively.
2. Handle internal communication of the organization.
3. Prepare reports and ensure transparency and accountability.
4. Build a relationship with the community, partner organization and other key stakeholders of the organization.
5. Ensure the activities are well-planned and executed effectively.
6. Ensure optimum utilization of resources and financial management.
7. Provide support to fellows and volunteers in organizing events, activities.
8. Support in partnerships and resource mobilization.
9. Organize the weekly and monthly review and planning meetings with coordinators and volunteers.
10. Support in research and dissemination of TYCL’s work in National and International forums
