The new amendment in social media

  • Mr. Jugal – As our Government has released new amendments in the social media and their account holders, people should know the consequences behind the amendments and react proactively. This change directly affects one’s freedom of opinion, which is the major fundamental right of the people living in a democracy country. The New Delhi based non-governmental organisation – Internet Freedom Foundation has expressed it’s discordance.  
  • Ms. Gokul – The Ministry of External Affairs of India which is maintaining the of foreign relations has concerns about the cause of disclaiming information spreads in social media.
  • Mr. Saravanan- The main reason behind this amendment is to delve and find the originator who originates the repeated and severe violations of civic integrity policy against our Government.   
  • Mr. Suresh – Government requires monthly reporting in IT from Indian mass media by new amendment. And expounded some rules of amendment to the meet.

Conclusion : Mr. Rasaiya has concluded the discussion by summarizing the team’s points/concerns regarding the same. At last, added his view over the new amendment before winding up the reflection session.

2.1.1 Review:

  • Youth Helpline calls for this month: Total – 20 calls; Benefitted – 5 calls, In-progress – 3 calls
  • Relief support related call – 12 (redirected to our overcome covid-19 helpline)
  • Counselling – 8
  • Follow ups on job Assistance, education support and counselling and updating call tracker
  • Mental Health Promotion poster of Youth helpline has been launched
  • Enquired the counselors list and contact numbers which was published in Dinamalar news letter
  • Worked on  promotion & education video for YHL and Mental Health.

2.2. Girls Lead Girls (Ms. Keerthana)

2.2.1. Review:

  • Worked on GLG poster content
  • Worked on collecting the women based NGO list with corresponding email ids, mail content and dropped the same to all the selected distribution list

  • Planning to work on GLG promotional activities and Social media analysis

2.3. Covid’19 Relief Support : (Ms. Keerthana)

2.3.1. Review:

  • Distributed Relief support & Mental Health posters to Primary Health Center, Sub-centers and Police stations in Puducherry.
  • Follow up on consent letters from Oulgaret, Villianur and Bahour tehsildar office
  • Worked on Puducherry Covid-19 volunteer pass
  • Worked on Overcome COVID-19 initiatives and Relief support promotional activity
  • Volunteer management and follow up

2.4.1. Review :

  • Partner organization follow up
  • Cascaded the volunteers requirement to our team however put it on hold due to lockdown.

2.5.1. Review:

  • Worked on Annual report 2020-2021
  • Worked on COVID-19 Mental Health Video and COVID-19 volunteers ID Card
  • Worked on GLG Promotion Poster and
  • Distributed COVID-19 relief promotion poster at Primary Health Centers and Police station
  • Worked on Youth Creative Arts Camp for Positive Mental Health logo and poster
  • Worked on quarantine isolation poster and donate Poster for the same
  • Completed Overcome Covid-19 experience sharing by Mr. Francis video editing
  • Worked on COVID-19 Support video presented by Ms. Keerthana
  • Worked on Youth helpline promotion video and Mental Health tips video presented by Mr. Rasaiya
  • Worked on Thank you card for donners
  • Worked COVID 19 volunteer poster, Child Line poster and Virtual Expert Talk poster
  • Worked on feedback video and participated in relief support works

2.6. Gender Positive Masculinity (Mr. Praveen)

2.6.1. Review:

  • Worked on workshop documentation
  • Internal Micro level discussion with the team/fellows

2.7. Child Leader Awards & 10 Years of TYCL Celebration (Mr. Praveen)

2.6.1. Planning:

  • Planning to have a meet with coordinators

2.8. Administration : (Mr. Suresh)

2.8.1. Review:

  • Completed Fellows, Volunteers and Internship policy for our organization. Under Review with the Board.
  • Kick-started Overcome COVID19 initiatives on Mental Health, Groceries and Food support on 2nd May 2021.

2.8.2. Planning:

  • Initiated Recruitment for the post of Counselor – Youth Helpline. As of 5/6/2021 we have received 19 applications.
  • Planning to conduct Personal Interviews for the shortlisted candidates.

2.9. Finance & Audit : (Mr. Suresh & Mr.Prabhu)

  • Expense and account details of a month: 
  • Decided to apply FCRA once IT for the year 2020-21 has been filed (Approximately in early October)
  • Requested the team to get ‘Donation Receipt’ at the earliest and acknowledge them
  • Planning to open account in SBI under SBI pipelines
  • Total funds raised for “Overcome COVID-19” as of 05/06/2021 – Rs. 4,48,074/-
  • Expenses of the month(petty cash)- Rs. 10,500/-
  • Bank Balance as of 05/06/2021- Rs. 1,02,339/-
