TYCL has organised a two days workshop of Harvesting Youth Leadership on “Towards Youth-Led Social Inclusion” at Pudhuvai Tamil Sangam. It is open house invitation for youngsters in Pondicherry. Around 150 people were registered. As per limit 100 were invited and 75 members were participated. The purpose of the program is to harvest Puducherry youth for social change. The workshop includes following session:
– Gender Based Inclusion – Ms.Shethal, SCOHD Society
– Inclusive Volunteerism – Mr.Kathikeyan, Founder, Sristi Village.
– Role of youth in Environment – Mr. Bharathi Kannan, Environmental Activist
– Community & Reservation – Dr.Siva Mathiyazhagan

After, the day two was followed by TYCL volunteers and beneficiaries experience sharing session. TYCL projects / programs were presented by respective co-ordinators. And the interested participants has joined the existing team of the project / programs.

The entire 2 days was facilitated by TYCL and team. No fees charged for workshop as well as lunch and snacks. Interesting fact is 67 participants has turned up for day 2. It has motivated us to work along with socially responsible youth.
