On 6 January 2019, as this is the first month of New Year the monthly planning and reviewmeeting was held with more excitements at TYCL office (First Sunday of every month, there will be monthly review and planning meet for volunteers at Trust for Youth and Child Leadership office to review last month activities and plan for current month activities). 9 members were attended the meeting. Mr. Francis (Puducherry Youth Helpline fellow) facilitated the entire meeting.
Since we passed 2018, we started the meeting with self reflection (sharing our self reflection towards a previous year). Then, the meeting was turned to review and planning. The respective coordinators to the above projects gave their December month updates, activities planned to do in current month.
1. Mr.Francis (Puducherry Youth Helpline fellow) updated that
– Presented a paper at Gujarat Paper Presentation and get positive response,
appreciations from chair persons.
– Completed awareness program about Harvesting Youth Leadership at Perunthalaivar
School.
– Awareness program for NSS Students at Christ Institute of Technology.
– RTI database received from Police department
– RTI database received from Health department in Mahe and Yenam
– 16 Calls(7 female and 6 male) arrived for Youth Helpline, in that 5 are benefitted and 11 in
process.
– Need volunteers to collect data from hospitals.
2. Mr. Rasaiya (N’Kana fellow) shared their updates that need a volunteer to map the child,
one child dropped out from the project, reviews are collected from volunteer about the
status of all the child and planned to conduct the meeting this month.
3. Mr.Francis shared about the Jeithu Kattuvom program plan for students of Thanthai Periyar GGHSS on January 26.
4. Ms.Kamali(Co-ordinator HYL) has updated about Harvesting Youth Leadership 2019. Venue, resource and date are confirmed. And so far received 54 registration. Also has been prepared.
5. Mr.Saravanan(Co-ordinator Human Rights day) updated about Special Panel Discussion on “70th year of Universal Declaration of Human Rights”. The discussion was Broadcasted on TYCL Facebook page and telecasted in LifeStyle Media TV Channel.
At last, we wind up the meeting with gratitude practice and next meet will be on 3th February 2019.
